Host your website using the aws Free Tier

Image
You can try some AWS services free of charge, within certain usage limits. AWS calls this the  AWS Free Tier . The free tier is designed to give you hands-on experience with a range of AWS services at no charge. For example, you can explore AWS as a platform for your business by setting up a test website with a server, alarms, and database. You can also try out services for developers, such as AWS CodePipeline, AWS Data Pipeline, and AWS Device Farm. When you create an AWS account, you are automatically signed up for the free tier for 12 months. Your free tier eligibility expires at the end of the 12-month period. When your free tier expires, AWS starts charging the regular rates for any AWS services and resources that you are using. To avoid charges while on the free tier, you must keep your usage below the free tier limits. You are charged for any usage that exceeds the limits. To help you stay within the limits, you can track your free tier usage and set a billing alarm to

What happens when file gets deleted from system?

Image
It happens. You delete a folder or format a memory card without realizing that it contained some crucial file, photo, or document. Fortunately, there are a number of ways you can recover or “undelete” that file. However, it’s not magic and you won’t be able to recover 100% of your file 100% of the time. To understand what affects your chances for a successful file recovery and what you can do to increase those chances, it’s worthwhile to learn what happens when you delete a file. And that’s precisely what we’ll talk about in this article. Into the Trash Bin When it comes to removing unwanted files, each of the major operating systems has some sort of “trash” bin. This is a staging area where your files when you first hit “delete.” In Linux, it’s usually called the Trash Bin. For Mac OS X, it’s simply the Trash. And for Windows, it’s the Recycle Bin. Just like the recycle bin in your kitchen, the stuff you toss in your computer’s Recycle Bin doesn’t disappear immediately. Until i

Flipkart Billion Capture+ among budget phones

Image
The Billion Capture+, the first smartphone developed by homegrown e-commerce major Flipkart, is not just another product vying for eyeballs in India’s already-flooded smartphone market. Though a budget device, this smartphone impresses with a performance that is on a par with many a mid-tier device. Flipkart claims that the Billion Capture has been made in India for the Indian consumer, and that it has been designed after analysing user feedback received on the e-commerce portal. But does it pass the test in so far as user need and greed are concerned? Business Standard reviewed the Billion Capture+ to test how it fares in real-life scenario and here are our observations: Design At first look, the Billion Capture+ looks almost the same as the Xiaomi Mi A1. But, a few imperfections – not-so-smooth side curves and out-of- place SIM card tray – become visible on a closer inspection. The front has a 5.5-inch full-HD IPS screen in the 16:9 aspect ratio which leaves huge bezels on the top a

UC Browser removed from Google Play Store

UC Browser, a mobile browser app designed by China-based UCWeb -- backed by Alibaba group, is reportedly taken down from the  Google Play Store. The browser had almost 500 million downloads across the globe with over 420 million users. The browser is quite popular in India with a user base of almost 100 million. The delisting of app has seen no response from UCWeb or Google and, therefore, is reported to be a temporary delisting. However, an email received by Android Police founder -- an online technology  news  portal – states that the UC Web’s affiliates are using malicious redirect ads to inflate installs. This may have prompted Google to delist the browser. Here is a snippet of the e-mail shared by Android Police founder on Reddit: Dear Partner, We hereby emphasis again that UC Union prohibits any and all misleading/malicious advertising method(s) to procure new users when promoting  UC Browser  campaigns, such as by using slogan inconsistent with the Pro
